The NYS Assembly Minority is sponsoring a Sportsmen & Outdoor Recreation Legislative Awareness Day in Albany on January 12, 2010. All gun owners and outdoor sportsmen are urged to attend this event. Wayne LaPierre Executive VP of the NRA will be the guest speaker and the lobby of the Legislative Office Building will be available for displays. SCOPE is arranging for bus transportation to and from this event with pickup locations from Buffalo to Syracuse and possibly others. Departure times will be very early in the morning of the 12th with return to the pickup location in the early evening. The cost to cover the cost of the bus service will be $25 per person.
