Howard Communications Wins Golden Glow Corporation Award for 2008

At the recent Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers (AGLOW) Conference held at Lake of the Woods in Baudette, Minnesota, Howard Communications, Inc. was awarded the prestigious Golden Glow Corporation Award for 2008 during the Golden Glow Awards Ceremony.

Howard Communications, Inc. received the award "For leading the industry in public relations, media relations and consumer awareness. For their tireless effort in representing the top outdoor industry leaders in the United States and working closely with outdoor media to promote outdoor sports."
The Golden Glow Award is AGLOW's highest honor. Nominated and selected by the Council of Past Presidents, these awards are presented in four different categories, including Individual, Corporation or Company, Organization and Public Servant. Specific Golden Glow Awards are not necessarily bestowed each year. Recent past recipients of the Company or Corporation Award include Boyt Harness Company, Cabela's, Sheldon's Inc., TTI Companies and Bass Pro Shops.
