Hunting Greats Invade New York
The biggest names in deer hunting will be assembling for the first time
ever at the debut of the highly anticipated Whitetail Summit 2009 and
the Ultimate Sportsmen's Experience this September at the 98,000 square
foot Adirondack Sports Complex (Dome) in Queensbury, NY.
Among those scheduled to appear and host seminars are the Benoits
(Larry, Lanny, Shane, & Lane), Barry and Gene Wensel, R.G. Bernier,
Hal Blood, Joe DiNito,
Craig Dougherty, Neil Dougherty, Jim Massett, Alan Probst, Dan Schmidt,
and Dick Scorzafava.
"It really is one of the greatest line-ups ever assembled of people who
understand all aspects of the white-tailed deer and how to hunt them,"
said show promoter Jeff Frazier. "What is even more impressive is that
this list isn't complete. We are still waiting to sign contracts with
some other huge names in the whitetail world."
"If you know anything about deer hunting you have heard the names,"
said Fraser. "For over 20 years their work has been on the cutting edge
of the whitetail industry, and I am absolutely delighted to announce
they will be at the Whitetail Summit," he said.
In addition to deer hunting, the three-day show will include seminars
by other recognized sportsmen. "By no means is it just a 'deer hunting'
show," said Frazier. "The 'Ultimate Sportsmen's Experience' part of it
includes bass pros, trout fishermen, fly casters, predator hunters,
turkey callers, dog trainers, fly tiers, antique sporting goods
appraisers, taxidermists, Boone & Crockett scorers, ice fishermen,
goose hunters, trappers - you name it and they will be there," he said.
"We are not sparing any expense when it comes to the show's seminars
and promotion," said Frazier. "We have literally combed the East to
also bring in some of the latest high-tech interactive attractions,
wildlife displays, kids activities, and highly acclaimed select
exhibitors," he said. "This is a show unlike any other that has even
been in the area before."
The show will open on Friday, September 11 and run through
Sunday, September 13. In addition to seminars, the
whitetail experts will assemble on Friday night for a special panel to
answer audience questions. On Saturday evening, September 13, all the
deer hunting personalities will again regroup in a relaxed setting with
ticket-holders for candid conversation and dinner.
The 2009 Whitetail Summit and Ultimate Sportsmen's Experience is pleased to
announce another exciting addition to its already packed line-up of
seminars.
"We are delighted that Anne O'Dell and other representatives
from the New York State Snowmobile Association will be giving a presentation at
the Summit focused on snowmobiling in New York," said Jeff Fraser, president and
CEO of Great White Productions.
O'Dell joins the list of over 25 other
expert seminar presenters on subjects such as brook trout fishing, fly fishing,
turkey calling, predator calling, goose hunting, and much more.
"All of
these are in addition to the 14 deer hunting legends that will all be doing
seminars throughout the three days of the show," added Fraser.
"We are
just putting the finishing touches on the complete seminar schedule and plan to
be announcing it to the public early next week," said Fraser. "The quality,
talent, and diversity is really unlike anything that has ever been done in this
area before," he said.
The show will open on Friday, September 11 and run
through Sunday, September 13 at the Adirondack Sports Complex (Dome) in
Queensbury, NY. In addition to seminars, the whitetail experts will assemble on
Friday night for a special panel to answer audience questions. On Saturday
evening, September 13, all the deer hunting personalities will again regroup in
a relaxed setting with ticket-holders for candid conversation, and the 2009
Whitetail Summit Dinner Sponsored By Trijicon. Immediately following will be the
awards reception featuring the 2009 Hall Of Fame Award Presented By Beagle.
The 2009 Whitetail Summit will feature over fourteen whitetail hunting
legends including the Wensel Brothers, the Benoits, R.G. Bernier, Hal Blood, Joe
DiNito, Craig Dougherty, Jim Massett, Alan Probst, Dan Schmidt, Dick Scorzafava,
Dave Ehrig, and Ken Hammel. Hundreds of high-tech interactive attractions,
wildlife displays, kids activities, and highly acclaimed select exhibitors will
also be present.
